The never-ending search

There are two things I am constantly looking for.

(Not the fountain of youth, or the answer to mysteries of life.)

Henry the frog, and the remote control.

Tonight I looked for the remote for at LEAST 30 minutes - forcing me to pick up the toys and crap littering the floor - and do you know where I found it?

In my bathtub.

The one great thing about kids being immobile would be that I would never find a remote control in my bathtub.

(Other things that are also always lost: Leighton's shoes. My cell phone. Matching socks for both kids. Eva's pacifier. Wipes. My mind.)

In our house the eternal question is "Where is Clayton?". He is a big-time wanderer. That and Clayton's shoes, because he wanders and THEN takes his shoes off. It never ends, does it?

Ditto on the matching pair of socks and remote... both items are always M.I.A. at our house.

I'm still laughing that it was in the bathtub.

I found your blog from your facebook page! Your kids are cute! I'm glad that we aren't mobile at our house yet. I already loose things and I don't need extra help!! Good luck keeping tabs on everything!

Hey, it's been way too long since I have checked up on you. I'm glad you are over halfway. We too are over halfway, but that means three more months, not two. I think you should come up and visit again. I'd love to see you. I'd come down there, but now with school starting and stuff its hard. I know how hard it is to travel by yourself and keeping a routine at home is easy, so only if you think you can.
