Leighton turned 18 months yesterday, so he was officially old enough for nursery today. (Although we've been cheating and letting him go for the last couple weeks.) Today as I sat in Sunday School and Young Women's, I felt the most wonderful sense of freedom. Nobody to chase or worry about trying to keep quiet. Nobody crying to me for snacks or a drink. Just me and Andrew, sitting together, just like the old days back when we were dating. It was glorious.
As I sat there basking in the Spirit and the joy of being kidless, I told myself, "Self, you'd better enjoy this Sunday freedom. Because you only have 8 months left of it."

I am sooooooo jealous. I still have a month and a half (and so counting) and then will only have two months of freedom, not to mention Grant and I never get to sit together, I teach SS and cause of coarse Sacrament Meeting is chaos!!!!

Congrats! I'm in the same boat as you so thanks for the heads up on making the most of the next several months of alone time with my husband in Sunday school :).
So happy for you. I've been really enjoying not having anyone in diapers for the last few months and I get to do tht for a few more. I've had kids in diapers for 13 and a half years and this 8 month break is WONDERFUL. Hope it's a good pregnancy for you. God bless you.
